Headtower is organized around the things an operator does, not around a grid of stat cards. Each view is a focused instrument; the command palette ties them together so you rarely have to reach for the mouse.

The shape of the console

• Machines is the home view - the core readout of every node in the tailnet.
• Dashboard answers “is the network healthy?” at a glance with the live coverage view.
• Access & ACLs is where policy is read, reasoned about, and changed.
• Routes is where advertised subnets and exit nodes are approved.
• Settings holds keys, diagnostics, and the things you touch rarely but need to trust.
• Command palette is the keyboard-first way through all of it.

Everything shares one design language: hairline rules, mono for every identifier and number, a single beacon-amber accent, and status colors that mean exactly one thing each.
